Applications
Buildings & High-Rise reinforcement
From individual homes to commercial towers, GFRP rebars deliver durable, corrosion-free reinforcement that extends the life of the structure and cuts long-term maintenance.
Why GFRP here
Built for this environment
- Longer building life — No rusting rebar means no concrete spalling or cracking over decades.
- Lighter structures — A quarter the weight of steel eases handling and can reduce dead load.
- Safe & non-conductive — Ideal for hospitals, MRI rooms and sensitive equipment areas.

Questions
Buildings & High-Rise — answered
01 Can GFRP rebar be used in high-rise buildings?
Yes. GFRP is used in slabs, columns, facades and podium structures where corrosion-free, lightweight and non-conductive reinforcement is valued. Design follows ASTM D7957 benchmarks.
02 Is GFRP suitable for hospitals and MRI rooms?
Yes. Because it is non-magnetic and non-conductive, GFRP avoids the electromagnetic interference that steel causes around MRI suites and sensitive equipment.
